From visual upgrades to smarter automations, here’s everything we’ve launched this month to support your growth.
A new navigation experience: Built for Shopify merchants
Let’s start with the biggest shift: a complete overhaul of the Judge.me interface.
After numerous interviews and hours of research, our design team has created the redesigned layout to bring your most-used settings and tools to the forefront.
Our aim with this refresh is to enable you to spend less time clicking around looking for things and more time getting things done.
We’ve aligned the new structure with Shopify’s own design language, making the app feel more native and fluid.
Whether you're adjusting your widgets, updating email templates, or exploring new features, the experience is now faster and more focused.
If you installed Judge.me after August 5, 2025, you’re already using the new navigation. For existing users, we’re gradually rolling out the update throughout the month — and everyone will have access by the end of August.
No setup or action is required on your end; the new experience will appear automatically.

Showcasing reviews in new ways
We’ve introduced a new video carousel widget that gives you a better way to highlight your most engaging content: your customers’ own voices.
With a fully customizable, scrollable design, the carousel lets you display video testimonials across your homepage or product pages.
It’s a simple, high-impact way to show social proof that speaks for itself.

Smarter review collection tools
To help make the review collection process easier, we’ve launched a new smart email editor that brings everything you need into one space.
Build branded, responsive review request emails quickly using templates — no more jumping between settings or guessing how things will look.
We've also enabled the option to automatically include promo/coupon blocks across all your review request emails.
These blocks clearly show customers the reward they’ll receive for writing a review, removing any ambiguity and giving them extra motivation to engage.
Lastly, we’re happy to say that through our integration with Dondy, you can now collect verified reviews via WhatsApp with Shopify Flow.
This lets you automate review requests across channels and use one workflow to follow up with ratings, send rewards, or trigger support.

Post-review moments that drive sales and trust
After someone leaves a review, their journey with your brand doesn’t have to end there.
Now, you can use post-review thank-you emails to recommend relevant products — creating a thoughtful opportunity for re-engagement and upselling, without being intrusive.
You can also use this touchpoint to collect store-level reviews, giving customers a chance to share feedback on their entire shopping experience.
These reviews go beyond the product and reflect on your brand as a whole, helping future shoppers gain confidence not just in what you sell, but in how you deliver it.

Easier importing and cross-platform credibility
If you sell on Etsy, we’ve made it easy to bring your reviews with you. Our new Etsy Review Sync lets you automatically display Etsy product reviews on your Shopify store through Judge.me widgets, helping build cross-platform trust.
For other sources, our improved import tools help you bring in reviews faster and more accurately. Fix date formats, map reviews to products using SKUs, and skip the spreadsheet cleanup. It’s all about saving time and making sure your reviews show up where they belong.
Four new integrations
To round out this month’s updates, we’ve added four new integrations that make your reviews even more actionable:
Boomerang helps you reconnect with shoppers by displaying reviews for products they recently viewed.
Rise.ai rewards reviewers with store credit, creating a smart loop of feedback and loyalty.
Roasberry gives you analytics on how reviews influence customer behavior, from browsing to checkout.
Kimonix uses review data to create better product bundles and personalized collections.
